What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, like keeping you signed in or understanding which features are used most.

Cookies we use

EssentialAlways on. Cannot be disabled.

Authentication & session

These cookies keep you signed in between page loads and protect your session. They are set by NextAuth.js and are required for Ospri to work. They expire when you sign out or your session ends.

next-auth.session-token: signed JWT session cookie
next-auth.csrf-token: CSRF protection
next-auth.callback-url: redirect target after login
ospri_signup_intent: remembers the plan you picked on signup
ospri_first_workflow: remembers the first thing you chose to try after signup

Site analytics (no cookie)

We count visits to public pages so we can see which pages and sites bring people here. That count does not set a cookie. Your IP address and browser are mixed with a random daily code, then thrown away. The resulting hash changes every day and cannot be turned back into your IP. We store the page, the referring site, country, and device type.

If you run the site yourself, a cookie named ospri_analytics_ignore can be set to skip that device. Visitors never get that cookie.

Managing your preferences

There is no analytics cookie to accept or decline. Sign-in cookies cannot be turned off without breaking the service.

No advertising cookies

Ospri does not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not share cookie data with ad networks.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we add or remove cookie types. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
